First, let me say that I am absolutely loving this series featuring ex-military members and the challenges they often face as they return to civilian life.

In regard to this story, I had been wanting to know more of Mason's story and the author did not disappoint. It seems that Carley came into his life at just the right time. Both of these characters have had challenges in their past and are learning to deal with them. Plus, there's the added danger that comes about when a couple of items are found at the condos (old military barracks) that Quinn and his company are remodeling.

I loved Mason and Carley's journey throughout this story and the introduction of some new characters. And thankfully they got their HEA in the end.

I really enjoyed Quinn and Hanna's story. Second chance stories for people severely hurt by past relationships are always great. I found my heart falling for Quinn. I admit that twist was a little crazy when I saw it coming, and I thought it might get worse than it did. The danger and suspense served to get me on the edge of seat with that extra twist-people be crazy! Everything worked out of course and they found a true happy ending.

A sweet, quick romance between older individuals getting a second chance at real love, with a hint of suspense and danger to keep it lively for those romantic suspense lovers who love a calmer story once in awhile. I liked the fact Grace was finding her strength again, and loved the initial interactions between her and Sid in relation to his PTSD. And a sweet pup also stars, making the story even better.

The story got your attention from the very beginning and kept it throughout the whole story. I loved the progression of Lara and Tate' relationship as they fell in love.

This book is an awesome story. Could not put it down until I finished it in one day. Would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good story.
